Continued Covid-19 Response

2021 provided SAWA an incredible challenge as the pandemic hit 3 days after we left in March 2020.  We assisted Angiya with food, masks and handwashing stations.  We also encouraged the school to give us additional acreage in order to provide a feeding program for the students. The other challenge, with the addition of the field, is a storage unit for the security of the grain once harvested. Zoom has opened up a new way of communication from the US to Angiya. Zoom as allowed us to continue to be able to meet and check in with our Kenyan partners.
