Available safe water for children in classroom with adequate containers and water treatment procedures

Had new classroom tables for art, storage cabinets to protect art supplies provided. Rehabbed blackboards purchased 75 chairs for preschool classrooms.

Music class with volunteer Craig Hopkins… music appreciation and worked toward song and dance performance at parent celebration at the end of our trip.

We had swings designed constructed with local labor

We started planning and implementing the beginning of an agricultural resource center with training team and needed projects.  Developed plans for growing new crops such as Moringa and natural alternatives to expensive fertilizers, introduced seed beds, composting etc.

Maternity clinic medical supplies. .planning for supplements for nursing mothers with AIDS…Rx for parasites on a regular basis for the all school children and proper water chlorination.

Beginning deep well project with water engineers.  Engaged a feasibility study on existing borehole

We continue to support local community groups TakaTaka2Pesa, KICK Uzima Crafts, Denur Crafts

Planned community wide art and music performance show that included students, parents and local adults

Distributed solar lights and solar chargers to deserving families.
